A new Paisley and District u3a group is being started for Mah Jong. Mah Jong is a game of is a game of skill, strategy, and luck. Each game has three or four players and uses a set of 144 tiles which have Chinese characters and symbols.
All levels of skill are welcome. The group will be led by one of our members, Catriona, and will start with four taster sessions in June for people to learn the game. The dates are Friday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th June from 10 to 12 noon. Mah Jong sets will be available but if you have one, please bring it along.
The venue will be at the Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) Church at the corner of Gleniffer Road and Glenburn Road in Glenburn, Paisley PA2 8PN. There is a large (free) carpark. The 26 bus from Paisley town centre runs regularly and stops outside the church.
If you are interested or would like to know more, please get in touch with Ellen Bailie (Temporary Contact) who will liaise with Catriona, using the contact link above
