Paisley and District u3a welcomes those who are no longer in full-time employment to join us
It is a place to learn new things, socialise, have fun as you share what you know and make some new friends. We have members from Paisley and throughout the Strathclyde area who regularly attend our meetings and participate in our groups.
“Learn as you go, have a laugh and live life to the full” is at the heart of all u3as. This UK-wide peer learning movement offers many opportunities to adults no longer working full time. It is a community where you can learn and try new things.
"Plenty Going On" says our Chair Kathy O'Donnell
2026 will be another busy year for our u3a. There are some joint ventures with other Scottish u3as and we are arranging some away-days for our own u3a members. Many members have enjoyed going to these in previous years and we hope you will join us again.
Paisley and District u3a is an inclusive organisation with over 200 members and 21 interest groups to choose from. We started in 2017 and are proud to be the 50th u3a in Scotland.
Everyone involved with our u3a is a volunteer. All of us have skills, knowledge and experiences that we can share with other members.
Why not give us a try? Visit the Membership page for more information.
