u3a Scotland

Paisley and District u3a is part of u3a Scotland. This organisation has over 50 Scottish u3as. In addition to supporting our own local u3a they provide opportunities to join online groups and monthly talks with
- many online groups including Ancient History, Laughter Yoga and Spanish for Improvers
- monthly talks on Post War Politics and in March The Mind of yoiur Microwave
- newsletters, two are produced each year with articles on the u3as throughout Scotland
u3a- UK
Each u3a in Scotland is also part of the UK-wide u3a organisation with over 1000 u3as through the UK. Similar to Scotland they also provide learning opportunities with
- monthly pod casts with subjects such as Pirate Radio in the 60s, a Vatican Radio reporter and a US Air Force pilot
- zoom talks on thinking about the future, science & technology, expeditions as well as classes on yoga, crosswords and mindfulness
- online workshops about u3a (login required)
- interest groups online (fee applies)
