Selection of Group Activities

Dates of group activities and events are held in the What's On calendar.

Groups and activities are a key part of all u3as where its members, who are no longer in full-time employment, can meet regularly. It's an opportunity to develop a hobby or interest and learn new things together. Our u3a aims to satisfy as wide a range of activities as possible but remember our group leaders are not all experts. Each group reflects what the members are interested in.

At u3a, it's often said: 'Teachers become learners and learners become teachers.'  If there is a topic or activity which appeals to you but is not yet available, why not suggest it? Also, if you would like to be involved in developing a group and sharing your knowledge and skills, please let us know! We all have something to teach AND something to learn.

Meeting venues differ according to the needs of the group.. We'd be delighted to hear your thoughts and ideas. You can give us feedback by emailing the Group Co-ordinator (Chris) or speaking to a committee member at our monthly meetings.
