A bus trip to Kirkcudbright, the Artists Town, has been arranged with a visit to the Scottish National Trust property Broughton House, This was the home of ‘Glasgow Boy’ E A Hornel and hosts an impressive collection of art. There are also colourful Japanese inspired gardens.
The visit offers a guided tour of Hornel's house and the gardens, cost £5.70 for non-NTS members and can be paid on the day.
In the town, Kircudbright Galleries are hosting interesting exhibitions, there's an exhibition of Modern Landscape and a famous Rock Crystal.
The cost of the trip will be £23 for the bus, and banking details will be sent out by email
A meal is being offered at the Selkirk Arms hotel
Because of the roadworks in Abercorn Street, the bus will leave at the back of Paisley Gilmour Street Station
